two new photos of interest

It's been a long time since last that I made an entry. First up is yet another snowstorm photo. This one is just of the ice that we are experiencing.

The next you can find on my Flickr. It is of the lunar eclipse of 2010.

These are bushes from the backyard, heavy with this white stuff.

What do I see on the West Coast?

Had to go to California on business a few months ago. When I got to hotel and went out on the small bacony, this is what I saw. Pretty wide range to see over the town.

A piece of history

The SS United States (also known as "The Big U") is an ocean liner built in 1952 for the United States Lines (shipping company). She is the largest ocean liner to date built entirely in the United States and still holds the record for the fastest westbound transatlantic crossing . Currently docked in Philadelphia until a decision is made about her fate
